Be The Exception In Special Education

Jun 29, 2023

Can you believe that it is almost July? For me that means that my summer break is halfway over and I know that many of you are in the same space as me. I always take June to refill my cup and focus on my family, but when July rolls around I begin to put my teacher hat back on and think about the beginning of the school year. But knowing where to start on the checklist can sometimes feel overwhelming..especially for new teachers.

In this week’s episode, I am chatting with Dr. Martha Briseno from Building Bridges about how you can rock the beginning of the school year. She is sharing practical tips based on years of experience to get you started!

In this episode you will learn about:

  • The need to create a schedule

  • How to develop an action plan with goals

  • Why you need to start the year organized

  • The benefits of creating emergency sub plans
